We talked with the development team at Gozilab about thier current iPhone game iBlast Moki and asked how they use the Plus+ System and what benefits it holds.

PlanetiPhone.de: You curently released the iPhone game iBlast Moki, what is it all about?

Thomas Lachartre: iBlast Moki is a physics puzzle game in the spirit of games like World Of Goo, Incredible Machines. The premise of the game is simple -- get all of your cute little mokis to the exit portal using one or more of the items provided. In reality, this will require some forethought and ingenuity. The items consist of some combination of bombs, rope, wheels, screws, bars and balloons. It is your job to MacGyver something together using just the items at hand and your knowledge of gravity and Physics to save the mokis. There are over 70 levels (including multiple "boss" levels) spread across six different worlds, each with its own unique style, terrain and obstacles. At the end of each level you are awarded points and a bronze, silver, or gold ranking, but you do have the opportunity to retry previous levels at any time to improve your scores.

PlanetiPhone.de: Can you generally tell us what Plus+ is? Which of your games will be using Plus+ and what benefits do you have using this unique system?

Thomas Lachartre: Plus+ is a social platform equivalent to the xbox live or the psn on ps3, it's developed by ngmoco. You can add friends, compete with them through the global leaderboards, unlock awards and compare your score and your awards with the ones from your friends or from all the players playing the game. A lot of good games are using this platform like Rolando 2, Luxor, Star Defense, it's a great platform which adds a lot of replay value. iBlast Moki has a global leaderboard but also several for each one of the 6 worlds. It has also a leaderboard for the best level designers.

PlanetiPhone.de: What future developments would you like to see regarding the Plus+ network?

Thomas Lachartre: Plus+ has a some features we don't use yet. Like the connectivity with twitter, facebook and also it allows the player to send challenges. We are planning to integrate more of those features in the next update of iBlast Moki.

PlanetiPhone.de: How do other developers have a chance to join Plus+ and what are the benefits? Do developers have to pay a license fee to join Plus+?

Thomas Lachartre: Developers don't have to pay a license to join Plus+, you can just go to their website http://plusplus.com/ and contact them.

PlanetiPhone.de: What is the toughest achievement of iBlast Moki?

Thomas Lachartre: Finishing all the levels of the game is definitely the toughest :)

PlanetiPhone.de: Is there anything you would like to tell our readers?

Thomas Lachartre: One of the other great feature form iBlast Moki is the ability to create and share your own levels. Once the levels are online you can sort them by more recent, most viewed and best rated. This is a system we developed trying to reuse the great ideas from the appstore. Around 30-50 levels are uploaded every day and you can see some users have already created some youtube videos to show their amazing creations:
